This tool watches a RateLinx freight auction for you and places bids automatically so you don't have to babysit the countdown. There are two ways to bid: Counter-bid mode (the default) and Snipe mode. Pick one with the toggle at the top of the Bid page.

The two modes

Counter-bid default

Use this when you want to fight for the load. The tool places a first bid a set amount of time before the deadline, then keeps watching. If a competitor undercuts you, it automatically re-bids $26 below the new lowest price β€” over and over β€” until the auction ends or the price drops to your Minimum Bid floor (it will never bid below that). Best when you expect competition and want to stay on top right up to the buzzer.

🎯 Snipe

Use this when you want to place one exact bid at the very last second and nothing more. The tool waits quietly, then fires a single fixed-price bid just before the deadline (you choose how many seconds/milliseconds ahead). It does not watch the price and does not counter-bid. Best when you have a firm number in mind and don't want to tip your hand early or get into a bidding war β€” you just want to slip in at the end.

The fields β€” Counter-bid mode

Shipment URL
Paste the RateLinx auction link for the load you're bidding on. Required for every bid.
Our Cost ($)
What the load costs us to run. Only used to show your profit margin (the % hint next to Minimum Bid and First Bid) β€” it's a guide, it never gets sent as a bid.
Minimum Bid ($) β€” your floor
The lowest price you're willing to accept. The tool will counter-bid down toward this number but will never go below it. If a competitor undercuts your floor, the tool stops rather than lose money.
Place Bid At
How long before the deadline to place your first bid (e.g. 15s means "bid with 15 seconds left"). Earlier is safer against slow page loads; later shows your hand less.
First Bid If No Price
When to use it: only matters when you're the first bidder and there's no competing price on the board yet. Normally the tool bids $26 below whatever the current lowest price is β€” but if nobody has bid, there's no price to undercut. This field is the number it uses in that case. Leave it blank if you only want to bid when there's already a price to beat.
Delivery Date
The delivery date to enter with the bid, if the auction asks for one. Optional.
Reload Interval
How often to refresh the auction page while it's still more than 1:30 from closing. Inside the final 1:30 it always refreshes every second. Lower = fresher data but more load.
Test run (checkbox)
Runs the whole flow β€” login, navigation, page loads β€” and reports how long each step takes, but never places a real bid and saves nothing to history. Use it to check the connection and timing before a live auction.

The fields β€” Snipe mode

Snipe Price ($)
The exact amount to bid. This is the only price the tool submits β€” it doesn't adjust it. Required.
Send Bid Before Deadline
How far ahead of the deadline to fire (seconds + milliseconds). Smaller = later/riskier but harder for others to react to; larger = safer against network lag. A couple of seconds is a sensible starting point.
Delivery Date
Same as above β€” optional delivery date to submit with the bid.

The buttons

Start Bidding / Arm Snipe
Kicks off the run. In Counter-bid mode it says Start Bidding; in Snipe mode it says Arm Snipe. The tool logs in, opens the auction, and takes over from there β€” watch the Live Status panel and Event Log to follow along.
Stop
Immediately halts the current run. Nothing further is bid. Use it any time you want to pull out.
Clear Log
Wipes the Event Log on screen. It's just tidying the display β€” it doesn't stop bidding or delete your saved bid history.
β˜€ Light / ☽ Dark
Switches between light and dark themes. Your choice is remembered.
Sign Out
Logs you out of the tool.
